Proposition 8

"Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother (which is the first commandment with a promise), that it may be well with you, and that you may live long on the earth.” Eph 6:1-3

All the confusion about Proposition 8, on our California ballot, is because we have allowed the homosexual community to twist the issue.

This is not about rights - it is about morality.

It is God, not government, who established the family. It is God, not government, who established and defined what marriage is to be!

Homosexuality is a choice - you were not born that way. All of us were born in sin, and we all have made bad choices because of it, however, the foundation by which civilization survives is the structure of the family.

Under California law, domestic partners already have the same rights as married spouses.

There is more to this than meets the eye, and if Proposition 8 fails, the flood gates will be opened. We must take a stand; we must say enough is enough!

Passing Proposition 8 will not stop the activists, but it will at least put up a wall. We must pray, act, vote, and cry out to God for His grace. As the family goes - so goes the nation. For our children and grandchildren’s sake, we must pass Proposition 8.
