The Promises of God

“For as many as are the promises of God, in Him they are yes; therefore also through Him is our Amen to the glory of God through us.” 2 Corinthians 1:20

“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful...” Hebrews 10:23

“Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord; seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust.” 2 Peter 1:2-4

Two things form the very fabric of life: promises and their fulfillment. Your expectation should be high as you pray the promises of God, knowing that - A promise by God is a pledge by God. It proves the warrant and forms the basis of the prayer of faith.

Pray these promises from the Word of God. Or, select others for your prayer time today.

“Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” Jeremiah 33:3

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7

“And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19

The character and fidelity of God vouch for the credibility of the promises He makes.
